Examples of Free Form All Over & Pantograph Quilting
The "All-over or Pantograph" category is my most economical category. It is a good choice when the fabric chosen to make the quilt is very busy and the quilting is not really going to show, it is just adding texture and holds the back, batting and quilt top together.  I approach this category in two different ways:

1) Free form all-overs: This is where I usually pick out a couple of shapes from the quilt top, or I may use anywhere from 3 to 10 different quilt motifs and I randomly repeat them over the surface of the quilt.

2) Pantographs: These are patterns that I follow with a laser light. Some of them are purchased patterns and some are my own design. Some people prefer them because they can pick out the exact design they want on the quilt. Enjoy the photos below!
