Legacy 100% Cotton with scrim - width 120 inches wide $7.50 per yard 100% cotton is sustainable and friendly to the environment and always has been. Centuries of quilt making have proven the strength and durability of this natural fiber. Shrinks 3 to 5%. 1/8 loft. I recommend this batting for 1800's reproduction quilts.
Hobbs Heirloom Washable Wool batting - width 9 ft $ 8.50 per yard
Wool is more absorptive than any other fiber. It breathes and acts as a natual insulator helping to maintain a comfortable temperature, summer or winter. Wool is exceptionally easy to quilt. Heirloom wool beards less than any wool in the world and is resin bonded to provide resistance to fiber migration. Approximate loft 1/4-3/8 inch with no shrinkage.
